How Lagrangian states evolve into random waves

چکیده

In this paper, we consider a compact connected manifold (X,g) of negative curvature, and family semi-classical Lagrangian states f h (x)=a(x)e iϕ(x)/h on X. For wide phases ϕ, show that , when evolved by the Schrödinger equation during long time, resembles random Gaussian field. This can be seen as an analogue Berry’s waves conjecture for states.

How Communities Evolve

In Ecology, there is active debate about the nature of changes in large-scale biological systems, such as communities or even the whole ecosystem. The question is, are changes in communities the simply result of the replacement and evolution of its species? Or on the contrary, community change as a body. According to Niles Eldredge (1996), who has been working with these questions during the la...

How Did T3S Evolve?

The injectisome has a common evolutionary origin with the bacterial flagellum, as suggested by the fact that the basal bodies of both nanomachines are similar and include many proteins with a significant similarity. Moreover, there are also functional similarities, such as the use of specific chaperones (5, 45, 104, 108, 138) or of molecular systems regulating the size of the external appendage...

How genes evolve

Many new genes evolve through gene duplication followed by rapid evolution. The rate of the evolutionary process was thought to depend on the interrelationships between a protein’s structure and function, and its biological role. Yuri Wolf et al. used a mathematical model to predict the variables that determine the evolutionary rates of change in genes from Drosophila, Aspergillus, and humans. ...
